Hello everyone, Lampada here, and welcome to the Fancy Fruits Asset Pack!

As this is my first ever asset pack on itch.io, I guess I should introduce myself:

My name is João (it is pronounced Jo-an-o or something like that), but I go under the artistic name of Lampada (or as some friends like to call me, Lamp). I am a brazillian artist, 24yo, and I have been doing pixel art for 10 years now, which is surprising to realise now, but its true so, yeah :D

About the project

So I wasn’t used to drawing sprites at all, but recently I’ve realised how fun it could be. I have started drawing some fruits for no reason, then after some three or four sprites and the need for money I thought: well those look good enough, why not seeling them? And well, here we are 😅

Drawing 32x32 isn’t the easiest task as there is a lot more area to cover if compared to the 16x16 resolution, but that also comes with the benefit of having way more freedom when it comes to textures and geometry.

My plans for this sprite pack is to reach 16 fruits, a goal that I think I might reach later on, so I hope to come back with updates soon! Next fruit I plan to draw is a watermelon, so we’ll see…
